Tape Shows Marine Hostage in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq — An Arab satellite TV network broadcast a videotape Sunday showing a blindfolded man in military fatigues and said he was a U.S. Marine taken hostage in Iraq (search).

There was no immediate comment from the U.S. military, but the video showed a card identifying the man by a Pakistani name and as an "active duty" Marine. The man had a trimmed moustache and his eyes were covered with a white blindfold.

The Al-Jazeera (search) network said the group claimed it infiltrated a Marine outpost, lured the man outside and abducted him. The station said the group demanded the release of all Iraqis "in occupation jails" or the man would be killed.

The group identified itself as "Islamic Response," the security wing of the "1920 Revolution Brigades" referring to the uprising against the British after World War I (search).

I hope for their sake (acttually I really don't, I hope they all are tortured,burnt, wrapped ain pig parts and placed in a box in the town square) that they didn't take a Marine. I sincerely hope that he's ok and that they find these cameljockey's before they decide to harm him. If they do, I say raze whatever town they find him in and turn it into a burning mrss, killing every living thing there.

I am sick and tired of hearing about htese sandni**ers taking our citizens soldiers and allies hostage and killing them. We have done nothing substantive, at elast that we here at home in the US have seen. We need to send a nessage to them that messing with the United States is a bad idea, and if you do you will die. Im sure that people on here will say im being brutal and posting nonsense but at least check out my arguments before you make a judgement as I will definitely read and consider your arguments.

These "Civilians" are not civilians as we here in the civilized world are, neither are the "kids", kids in the sense that we associate with that workd. They make every attempt to kill an American or another, as the ragheads say, "infidels". this is what they play as during their child hood and they honor and want to be just like the murdering ragheads that blow themselves up killing jewish soldiers or American soldiers or setting the readside IED's that kill our convoy's.

I know that some of you will say, "But not all of them try to kil......" Yes, you are correct, even though you are correct, those who are not active in supporting the terrorists and regime loyalists give their tacit and even verbal support to those actions. By way of the new "Bush Doctrine" policy put into place after the attacks of 9/11 those who harbor or give safe haven to terrorists are responsible as well. Thus we should hold them responsible.

If the rest of the world dosen't like the fact that we are going after teh the terrorists then they can deal with it. The justification we have is in my opinion and that of many others, more than enough,
