Interesting programme on about current and future military projects. It's brand new (2004).

So far, they were talking about and showing a new helmet that may enter Army service in the future, adaptive camo and what patterns are more effective, smaller night vision devices and thermal devices etc...

They just showed an FCS prototype and how electrical engines might be used on tanks, future tank shapes that generate less heat etc...

Commerical on now, but the next segment is about unmannes air/ground vehicles.

Edit: On note, it wasn't anything super fantastic that would change the life of anyone and most has been discussed on this board.

But, either seeing prototypes of these systems or them displaying models of certain systems and explaining the tech behind them, was really cool to see.
