why do the helos have the Iron Cross on them??

Belgian camo is called Jigsaw.

And the cross is because it's a German helicopter.

The UH-1D, which was used for the fast-roping demonstration by the Para-Commando's, is of the German Army. The Belgians do not have an utility helicopter of the size of the UH-1D.

No NH90 was there.
The onlu helicopter types were:
Aérospatiale Alouette II, Agusta A.109, Westland Sea King Mk.48, Dornier-Bell UH-1D (Germany), Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk (USA).
