So, who do you think is going to win?
I suspect a narrow victory by the Liberals unfortunately.

Hippies didn't get the Librals in the first time..they don't have the Cash like big biz to "$upport" the future premier, and the happy payouts (and favours) to big biz afterwards.."oh that's OK I'll just take that money out of health care".
The votes come from people that have the cash, and that those that will benifit from whatever government comes in.
I sure hope the Librals are out on their Asses or I will hold my head in shame for the amount of Apathy, and denile that exists in our country after those Libral bandits pillaged and plundered. :slap:
I think it is going to be close, and there might be some suprises.
Cheers!

That site is pretty neat..lots of good info.
Also I found the Voter tool kit area intresting..there is a whole section that compares Can-US-UK political systems. Very intersting read.

It's pretty bad when the thing that gets you the most votes is making up stories about how your oppenent is too much like Bush.
I'm starting to prepare for four more years of bull****. :cantbeli:

Note how the Liberals have a minority government. Parliament won't just be a rubber stamp for them anymore. We'll see how this shapes up.

I was hoping for the conservatives, they were to double the budget for our soldiers, hopefully with a minority government we can get another election in a year or so or some big liberal scandal to move them into one, or our conservatives fighting for a bigger military budget in parliment....

It's good that it wont be a Liberal majority but you'll probably see the Libs and NDP working together, then it will be like a majority for the Libs as long as whatever decisions they make are co-ordinated with NDPs interests. Maybe Martin will give cash handouts to NDP MP's p-) Wouldn't surprise me. Hopefully after Canadians get to know the Conservative party we'll see them win the next election( they're too new and canadians are afraid of them atm). Hopefully quebec will still be part of canada at that time. :|

Well at least as SFontaine put it no more rubber stamp for them.
You can be sure every move the Liberals make the Conservtives will be at them.
At least NDP didn't win..that would have really sucked...the Block would have been worse though.
Anyway I'll start saving up now to buy my own ammo when I join the Canadian Forces this year, and buy my Camo at Walmart. (just kidding..well maybe).
Cheers!

Big industry.
And you can bet this close call shook the Librals up. Normaly I don't watch CPAC or other political channels but I have a feeling it is going to be interesting to watch these two duke it out on every single issue.
I have no idea how the Canadian military is going to do through this.
Cheers!

This is actually a victory for the conservatives if you think about it......they have never been this close to the liberals in a long time.
