Oh yea? How?
The European Union commissioners have announced that agreement has
been reached to adopt English as the preferred language for European
communications, rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British government conceded that
English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a
five-year phased plan for what will be known as EuroEnglish (Euro for
short).
In the first year, "s" will be used instead of the soft "c".
Sertainly, sivil servants will resieve this news with joy. Also, the
hard "c" will be replaced with "k". Not only will this klear up
konfusion, but typewriters kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the
troublesome "ph" will be replaced by "f". This will make words like
"fotograf" 20 per sent shorter.
In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be
expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are
possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters,
which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil
agre that the horible mes of silent "e"s in the languag is
disgrasful, and they would go.
By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing
"th" by z" and "w" by " v".
During ze fifz year, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords
kontaining "ou", and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer
kombinations of leters.
After zis fifz yer, ve vil hav a reli sensibl riten styl. Zer vil be
no mor trubls or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand
ech ozer.
Ze drem vil finali kum tru.

Yes. Due to laws enacted by Adolf Hitler after he won ww2, we are not allowed to discuss this topic.
Was there any clear winner in this war?
You need to operationalize your question.
Definition of clear winner is a good place to start.
I would suggest you elaborate your thinking behind your question. If your thinking makes sence, perhaps you will get more serious answers.

If we compare the situation before the war and 10 years after it it seems clear that USA and USSR were the winners (though not the people in the latter case, but the system). Everyone else lost.

I actually think this guy might have a good point. I mean, after all, we all know that the Nazis went into space at the end of the war to wait for their time to come. They live on the moon, last I heard.
The real winners of WW2 will be the Space Nazis in 2015. I can tell.

Whatever the number of wars, I think we can all agree like gentlemen that Belgium will come out on top in the end. After 1,000,000 years of being invaded and occupied, we've built up an immunity. So, if we don't implode before the big showdown, we will soon take our rightful place in history. Beer and fries will flow freely, and we'll get rid of opressive laws against "*** with minors" and "molestation". Everyone will prosper in this New Age. Join us.

rofl Well I couldn't believe this thread has gone on for 5 pages....but since it has, and we are all in a good mood...how does one measure "won"?
I would say the Germans WWII helmets are worth much more than Tommys or Yanks helmets, ditto on Japanese helmets with stars are worth much more. But on the other hand a good US Garand rifle is worth much more than a Mauser or a Japanese Type 38 or type 99 rifle.
A really nice original German daggar in good condition with all the bells and whistles is worth a lot, as is a really nice Japanese military sword, moreso than most allied edged weapons of the war I can think of.
Now the Italians on the other hand, I can't think of too many WWII items of Italian military use that are terribly expensive or rare....so maybe the Italians lost? I don't know, they have wonderful food and beautiful women, not to mention wine...so I guess they didn't loose.
Maybe Greenland lost?
