View Full Version : Dead Man walking
I heard this morning that Saddam has arrived in Iraq, and according to Fox and CNN, he'll be tried Thurs.. Any thoughts. Think there will be huge coverage like OJ, or Michael Jackson? Did they say this was going to be closed?

there were human rights types whining that saddam might not get a fair trial.
thoughts on the Baghad street is they want him killed on live tv and not a quick clean death either :( something slow and inventive :(
quote its wrong to mutilate a rabid dog but saddam is lower than a rabid dog

The human rights folks will have to complain to the Iraqis. I have a feeling that something really bad is going to happen to Saddam. I don't know the Iraqi law and justice system

They've already reinstated capital punishment (something that Bremer suspended).

I would have liked him to be punished in a local, traditional way....
Not sure, which punishment this would be but for a person like Saddam hanging or execution squad doesn´t feel right.
Maybe they should put him back into the hole where he was hidden.....
Would be quite a tourist attraction (but I know not very civilized, so please do not flame me,)

They should burry him up to his neck, then hurl stones at his face..or something along those lines

I say just put him in a 3 foot by 6 foot cell, dump water on him every hour and give him pieces of bread through a slot. All with cameras recording the fun.
