Mr Reuss said it was not a case of there being no potential buyers for Holden, which made a profit last month.

There is always gonna be a high preformance market in Australia so i wouldnt be worried about V8's or turbo 6's. No self respecting motor enthusiast is going to swap a HSV,FPV for a japanese ****box with a bodykit.

Are you serious? Japanese > Holden > Ford. Talk all you want there are plenty of 4 bangers that absolutely destroy your 90 thousand dollar rebaged commodores/fords, which may I hold their value like a sack of ****.

Australian market is different to the rest of the worlds. We need big 6cyl engines and cars that can survive driving a few hundred kilometres in 40 degree heat.
Now apart from old Dato's I woldn't be in anything else except a big 4x4 built to Australian conditions or a big Australian built car. I've been in 4cyl rice burners in such conditions driving so far and it's not a nice experience.
