Hey...
I have been searching the web for over an hour now... I am looking for a light/laser system that you mount on your top rail of your rail system (m16). I have seen US-troops having this mounted on their rifles.
The only thing that I could find that looks like it is the AN/PAQ-4C... But as far as I can see this is only a laser... The one i am thinking about has a laser on one side, and i flashlight on the other...
Please help...

No its for my rifle... The Danish armed forces doesn't hand out cool gear to their troops... We have to buy them ourselves...

So youre wanting a PEQ-2? or a 15.
I have no clue how you could go about getting one of those if you even can

Just a suggestion, its not USbut you could google Laser Light Module, thats a vis and IR laser and a vis and IR torch in one. British issued and German made I think, so not sure if it'd fit on your C7/C8, and if it wouldn't, if there is an adaptor/other version they make which would.

Only laser/flash light unit i know of is the Insight M6 and M6X.

There are light and Ir laser combo that German KSK run on their G36....LLM01...the manufacture escapes me right now.. besides it is some German name that is difficult on my Chinese mind.... you might be able to Wiki it...same unit that Britboy is talking about

the PEQ2 is a IR laser/IR illuminator unit, it does not have a visible light build in it. PEQ2 has been replaced by PEQ15.

I was hoping to find something like the design of the PEQ2, but with visible light and laser... The LLM01 we have in the danish army... But in such limited numbers that they are only given to units being deployed... And I dont like to have things "sticking out" from my weapon, which is why something similar to the PEQ2 would be great...

We have some laser/light combos that are supposed to be for our M9s, but they have a rail mounting and the tankers that are attached to us mounted them on their M4s. They suck. They're not durable in the slightest, and the bulbs go out very quickly. I believe they're AN/PEQ-14s.

Yeah, that was it. AN/PEQ-14s, made by Insight. The only laser/light combos that I know of are designed for pistols and would not take the abuse that combat rifles take very well. I suggest getting a durable light and a durable infrared laser seperately. However, infrared lasers are usually rather expensive and very hard to buy if you're from another country or are a civilian.

Wait, apparently the AN/PEQ-16 that Insight recently made is basically a PEQ-15 with a light on it. Good luck buying one though.

If that really is the only product on the market with the features that im looking for, then game over :(... It seems impossible to buy one legally...
Thank you everyone for the answers, to bad you couldn't help me though... I'll go with plan B, and get a light and laser seperatly, and figure out some way to mount them so they wont be in the way...

Cheapest and strongest option in my opinion is US Mil issued Surefire. Not a lazer, but has very good IR cover on torch for use with NVD's. Also has touch-pad and can take a few knocks.
If you are headed to Afghan you should be able to get one of these through trade and barter with US Mil (you have alcohol, they don't)... Good luck.

I would suggest you save yourself a lot of money, and just go with an off the shelf aiming light instead of trying to get your hands on a PEQ-15, 16, whatever. I know its more junk to deal with, but I would think your chances of success are much higher. I had a PEQ-15 and a surefire on my rifle last deployment, never used the visible laser for anything, and the flashlight was very rarely used for anything you couldnt use a handheld one for. Just trying to save you some dollars, euros, etc
