I was watchin this show about loggers on the history channel and saw this wierd lookin chopper they used for liffing logs. So i googled it and this is waht i found. It uses an intermeshing rotor system which is new to me.

I've seen this version of a chopper before. They were being invented by German engineers in WWII.

This helicopter was not invented (or in the process of being invented) in WWII :bash: This particular design is fairly recent.

Maybe you mean they were working on a similar system (the intermeshing rotor system), but certainly not this helicopter.

Several helicopters have used this system in the past, one being the HH-43 Husky (also by Kaman I think)
