Pinks and Greens with a Brown Sam Brown belt would be the shiznit...too bad the Army is into this BS of the SDU...also good reference but the face as Click said is scary.

Cool site, Budansky.
Yeah, about the face: He looks like he would be most comfortable wearing a Boy Scout troop leader uniform, with a 12 year old boy sitting on his lap.

In all the Polling and asking Joe what he desired in a Service Uniform, most all wanted the return to "Dog**** Brown" OD #33 of the WWII era. Either as a Ike Jacket or similar to the pinks & greens concept.
Then Gen. Shoemaker decided "he liked Blue and **** you"- thats what you'll get.
Same for the Jackasses who decided upon ACUPAT & Velcro.
When you have Pogues from Natick deciding with little imput from the end users, you wind up with crap.

I was thinking the same thing. That is a way better uniform than both the blues and the greens. Although, it would be a little nicer if they changed the "pink" to a khaki color.

x2 on the Sam Browne belt. It would be cool to get those back, especially with the USMC Alpha Dress uniform.

Cool website. I just thought the pictures of Japanese uniforms lost a bit of credibility when they used the same guy. lol

Other than that, thanks a lot for the website. Has some good info as well.
