I would have loved to see O'Reilly or Limbagh do something like this in regards to Bush, but no, they just had to make excuses and point the finger.

You have to admit, however, that Obama is trying to make it seem like he is distancing himself from Bush foreign policy, while accepting it and using it, but calling it something else.
The U.S. seriously needs to start looking at putting third party candidates in Congress. The Republicans and Democrats both have way to much power to manipulate the public.

But none of them by the major right wingers (i.e. Rush, Hannity, Bill).

Nope. Not Olberdouche. Just Maddow.

I think they call that political maneuvering.

If by "Major" you mean political pundits of a particular party that gain popularity and support because they are ardent supporters of said political party, then, no...but how many members of a party are going to stand for bashing of a party leader by one of its own members? Plenty im sure, if the argument is sound....of course to do so would be ratings suicide, and its all about ratings so that sponsors keep paying so the lights dont get turned off.

Pretty much, yeah.

Actually, whenever he caved to the Dems they would complain..alot. Near the end of his term they complained...ALOT MORE to the point that they were not referring to him as a conservative.
The difference is that Bush wasn't toted as a messiah when he was re-elected nor did he make alot of promises and flip flop on them right away. Obama rhetoric was specifically noted for its anti-"everything having to do with Bush policies" which he is not only continuing but expanding in some cases. There is ALOT more to get angry about with Obama if you're a Democrat than you had with Bush. Bush told you to your face what was going to happen while Obama lied to yours.
The irony is that reality has a habit of gorilla stomping idealism and Obama is no less susceptible. Bush's future in the history books is suddenly looking brighter.

To a degree. But to say Rush or O'reily never disagreed with Bush/A Bush policy is false. It happened, though not as often as some would like.

Wait, wait, wait...I'm not pro-Obama. Just wanted to clear that up. I just find it annoying when people like Limbaugh constantly make excuses rather than accepting the fact that Bush didn't always do everything right.
I always thought that MSNBC was to liberals as FOX was to conservatives. At least one commentator stands out over there.

And not to the degree and length of Maddow's criticism...or at least I've never seen it. Anyone feel free to show me Limbaugh or O'Reily tearing Bush a new one for seven and a half minutes...

That is what Communists do. They do what to any person reasonably intelligent would see as a communist policy, but look straight into the camera and call it something else. Its not wealth redistribution, its making things a little more fair for the common man.....etc.

Hmm, I can do better. Try an entire week. You should check out the nice things they had to say when he tried to pass the last immigration bill. Most of the big pundits collaborated on that one although I believe Rush was leading the charge.
Full outright opposition to an initiative by Pres. Bush along with grassroots activism. Not just a 7 minute rant.
