I keep seeing pictures (mostly aussi) of the M249 with these soft 100-200 round zippered belt bags attached to the weapon. I have searched high and low and cannot find ANYWHERE to buy these. They are practically non-existant in Canada. I dont wanna wait till im overseas to trade for one, I'd like to have at least 2-3 to play with before going over.
Does anyone have a few of these they want to part with? Or know where to aquire one.
thanks.

Normally see these in the surplus section on ebay.

The nut sacks are hard to come by. I didn't see one until we got overseas, and my SAW gunner didn't receive on until we were in country for nearly a month.

How many do you need?
I can get these localy at surplus stores for about $20usd. If you only need a couple I might have then here at home. 100 and 200. US woodland camo however, if that matters.

I'm currently the gunner in my section and from the experience of the last ex I did, stick with the 100 round mags, 200 rounders will weigh down the rounds and cause endless stoppages. Keep a 100 round mag on the gun and 50 round belts in your webbing and you'll be able to lay down plenty of suppressive fire.

If you need more, ask Gunny Gurrola to contact SSgt. Auer.

The Woodland 100rd Nutsacks are cheap here near Ft Cartoon, about $10 each, NIW sometimes.

Eh, somebody downrange might actually be sick of the 200rds getting tangled up inside the big ol' nut sacks.

Better then the POS drums.
After coming home, I got my hands on 6 of these hundred rounders.
