The thing sounds exactly like the CIRAS when you red the stuff on EAGLE's website...also why isn't the Marine Corps involved in joint modernization plan like the other three services are?

Ok then never mind...I so didn't see that part. Basically I'm guessing it was the concept for the CIRAS to thread starter.

USSOCOM adopted BAE Systems RBAV system. BAE Eclipse RBAV-SF:

But the Eagle CIRAS maritime and land versions are still being used as your pictured. By the way, do you know member-0mega7?

Supposedly the RBAV is a lighter solution because of the 500D materials used. Sure it does get worn down quicker but at least it's cheaper than the CIRAS to replace.
