 Usual CNN stuff trying to push the black angle. Simplifying the situation to say that Obama got a big welcome because he is African. You would think an anchor like Lemon would remember the Bush dancing around and the woman wearing the shawls with Bush's face on them last year.

He asked a question that did not refer to Obama's race at all. He acknowledged that western leaders are usually warmly welcomed in Africa and inquired if this was typical or unprecedented.

She answered the question confirming it was typical without mentioning race at all.

Where do you get "black angle" and trying to "revise history" from?

The section in red above is completely false.

Seems you are the one with an angle to push.

Oh man, it's funny.

Watch how his eyes go wide and he sits up in his chair at about the 36 second mark when she started giving her answer and he realized it didn't conform to CNN's narrative.

For crying out loud. His eyes did not "go wide". He sat up because he was starting to slouch towards the lower left of the shot.

Quote by word:

(...)

female: "A truly African welcome that is given to everyone, whether they are from Africa or from any place in the world"

guy: "so they welcome everyone, it doesnt matter this is how the People do it right."

female: "Indeed. "

To the first poster:

You are the biased fool here not CNN :)

I watched it. He was relaxed and started slouching to his lower left. He sits up center shot the way he's supposed to, probably signalled by a producer.

His eyes did not reflect any measure of surprise or reaction to her statements.

You are both really reaching.

"Slouching to the LEFT" is the key indicator... right ? , or no I mean left wing , no right dammit !.

"Slouching to the LEFT" is the key indicator... right ? , or no I mean left wing , no right dammit !.

So reporters can not inquire as to the customs of other cultures in greeting world leaders now without it being racist or partisan even though neither race nor political affiliation were involved in the dialog?

This racial and left vs right BS some of you tout without rhyme or reason is getting old.

Nothing racist except Don Lemon trying to probe for an answer that simplifies Africans to people who dance in the street when the first major leader of African descent comes to town. He should of known that this was typical behavior after the much publicized Bush visit, but then again he works for CNN.

It is obvious he was expecting a different answer, otherwise the question should not of been given. CNN also is trying to push the false meme from the campaigns that Obama will make us more popular.

I felt a little push. It felt really awkward in that video. It was like they were trying to show something that wasn't there, but it was very subtle.

CNN vs FOX

Democrats vs Republicans

Michael Jackson Fans vs Michael Jackson Haters

Obama vs Anti-Obama

It seems like the US needs another civil war.

CNN is getting more and more rediculous. While Americans were dying in Afghanistan it was relegated to the bottom ticker so we could hear for two weeks about Michael Jackson. And all of their propaganda in regards to Obama just...amazes me. Of course, they played along with the 'Iraq WMDs' thing quite well too.

I'd say they have very little credibility left and might as well just dedicate the channel to reruns of Entertainment Tonight, interspersed with Obama speeches.

If any of you think CNN is left-wing then you should check out MSNBC. I flip between MSNBC, CNN & FOX, I gotta say that for the most part CNN is the least biased. I also check out DW, NPR, & many print news. It really upsets me when people try to argue about news agencies having an agenda, especially because most of those people tell me I should be watching FOX or MSNBC...

It would be great if Americans grew up and forgot about two-party divided politics. Our system needs to be reformed, or else we'll be stuck in a partisan mess forever.
