Get the Tango Down vert grip. it retails between $61 & $63 (but I got mine for well below that ;) pm me if you'd like to know how). You can even get it in OD & Tan.

If you want some good info on this vert grip go HERE (http://www.tangodownllc.com/product/vertical.shtml).
You mite want to contact a forum member SMGLee (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2252) I know he runs a tactical gear shop (http://www.cltactical.com/).
:D
tdi arms ( www.tdi-arms.com) make some nice vertical grip
Standard:

Never heard of TDI, Tango Down on the other hand has been getting rave reviews.
But they got very popular in Israel, since that before they were, there was no place in Israel to buy such stuff (grips, flashlights and mounting for them, rails and such).
I've tested thier stuff and it's top quality.
Another very good company that i've seen in use is First Samco (www.firstsamco.com) which make very nice grips aswell.

I used to have a First Samco, and for me the rail is a real P.O.S. but nevertheless the place for the fingers is a good idea.
I think I gonna try the Tango down grip.
Tx for the advice guys. [/b]

Did the rail get loose after a while or was it like that out of the box?

The "first samco" grip was perfect for a couple of weeks and then started to get some play.
2 months later my grip was good for the trash.

I purchased a First Samco M44 new off of AR15.Com for a real good price then I read the bad reviews on AR15.Com :cantbeli: and sold it on Ebay for a profit and applied the profit to a Surefire M73 rail system which should hopefully be here next week.
THe only thing I rate form First Samco is the ligt holder.

Either the tango down or the Dieter CQD Donkey ****s will do just fine.... everything else doesnt compare.

Yeah, right...
I'm using a TDI "Short Vertical Grip" for a while now and are completely satisfied - rugged, comfortable and stable:

David sold it to me for just € 25,- p-)

I agree with Eggroll. I've had my hands on some of the cheap knock off's along with the KAC (a good grip but not up to par with the TD) I don't have any experance with the Dieter but I've only heard good things.
Btw Carlos, Eggroll is just telling you what he thinks in his profesional oppinion, & what other profesionals think. ;)

And I state what I think in my professional opinion about "everything else"- comments when most people (including myself and egroll most probably) haven't personally tried "everything else" available on the market.
That just reminds me of the more-than-futile "Which gun/tank/plane/whatever-shiznit is best of the world"-Questions - and yes, that is my opinion... ;)
Anyway the TDI mounting principle is no "cheap knockoff" (at least regarding the knockoff, of course it is cheap) but quite different to KAC models or the TD.
What I've seen so far it is at least equal in strength to the TD although a bit slower to dismount (but that isn't a real criteria IMHO)...
I'v also read a lot of hype about other gear and was more than disappointed when actually testing it - so I don't give that much to all those "professionals" around on these boards - no pun intended.
I have no actual reason to doubt that egroll has a good and founded opinion about the TD and DCQDDD's but I actually doubt that he tried every other available vert grip available "somewhere else". ;)
Having an opinion about a good and (self)tested piece of equipment is one thing (and truely appreciated), posting "everything else"-comments isn't that helpful when not founded enough - that's my point...

 I agree ...
I normally stay out of these type of arguements ... and if you think this is bad... head on over to arf.com. They take it to a whole nother level. :|

I have the KAC grip on my M4 and the TDI short grip on my AK.
The Tdi short grip is definitely rock solid. As fo the TD. I have the pistol grip on my M4 and it's good. Has enough bells and whistles so I don't need the vert grip.
