Just thought I'd put this out there since we seem to have never ending Barack Obama threads and Palin never seems to disappear which I would like.
Basically choose anyone that was before George W. Bush, only reason being is that he just left office.
I would choose Theodore Roosevelt:

Thomas Jefferson.
The Louisiana Purchase alone makes him one of our greatest Presidents.

+1 on Teddy Roosevelt. Not only did he accomplish great things while President, he could probably take on all the other presidents at once in a fight.

Teddy Roosevelt. He might have had a blown-up image but he would take his power and ride roughshod over some people who need it.
FDR. Decried as a closet Commie, he took on those even in his own party who stayed in the way of what needed to be done (unlike Obama) and he made all of the necessary alliances to finish ww2 in one piece until the war ended. He also did the fireside chats, a nice way of telling ordinary folks "yes, we're ****ed, but this is what we're doing right now, so hang in there and don't revolt, hungry ****ers." You don't see that kind of plain talk right now, everyone in DC is still in denial or too pussed out to tell the truth.

Bill Clinton.
I know, he ain't dead but he was the greatest POTUS ever. EVER!!!!!!
I know he will not run for the office again so the only better choice would be Jesse Jackson. If he won the presidential election America would show it's truly not a racist country anymore.

Teddy Roosevelt.
Although Andrew Jackson was the only president to ever pay off our debt. We could use him right now.

Thomas Jefferson or Teddy Roosevelt.
I would be satisfied with either of them.

Calvin Coolidge.
Best pres ever, and one of the lesser known ones. Cut taxes, and slashed our national debt to almost nothing.
William Howard Taft. He was behind the creation of the Supreme Court Building, restructured the federal judiciary, created the writ of cert which changed how the Court operates today. He is also a fitting symbol of today's American society--fat, obese, and fat again. He had a giant tub installed in the White House because his fat a$$ couldn't fit anymore.

He gained weight due to the stress. He lost 80 pounds within a year after leaving office.

TR is my favorite, But in this modern world of Cooperation i dont think the "**** you, its my way" is the way to go.
FDR is ok too, but if modern liberals had problems with President Bush "breaking" the constitution, then FDR would give them a heart attack.
Reagan would be awesome, but then again, id also like to see what JFK could have finished.
And i would love to see what would have happened if Bobby Kennedy hadnt been assassinated.

I'd take Old Hickory, Andrew Jackson. Doesn't fit our politically correct times, but he's tough enough to whip Theodore Roosevelt. And I'm bringing back Teddy for V.P. under Hickory. It's a combination that would make our enemies quail in fear.
