Never but the Brits never treated us that badly, and if we weren't a Colony we probably wouldn't have seen any serious economic growth...

And under the PRC we expected to have SAR status meaning we could at least have some say in what we wanted.... after all aren't we all chinese?

If there is no democracy, stay and fight for it which I admire. But to suggest HK be give away to the "guai lo" just because you are not happy witht the political reform is it a typical way of chinese thinking? By far i have never encounter something as absurd as this.

While I don't like CCP, I do not see some hongkey being much better. Look at the way they refer to the mainlander -"ah chan". Why look down on your fellow compatriot just because you guys are richer? Like what you say "after all aren't we all chinese"?
