I will have to work both Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th. O well, at least I will be doing my part in getting America in shape. woot

O, and after my shift on Saturday I will be participating in the 50+ player Texas Hold'em Poker tournament. woot
Probably just staying home, spending time with the family. My dad might cook out, and hopefully we'll get fireworks. Yay for fireworks woot AND cheering on Portugal!! :D I will be decked out in Portugal gear :P

The local fireworks show of course. National anthem (performed by someone), Arizona NG will be there (should be interesting), AF flyovers (meh), stuffing my face with steak, and the largest fireworks show in the county (I think that's a good thing.)

Actually, I don't think so. Since people spend the 4th off, they'll be at home. They do all their driving the day before and after. I've driven on holidays before and the roads are always empty.

Actually, I don't think so. Since people spend the 4th off, they'll be at home. They do all their driving the day before and after. I've driven on holidays before and the roads are always empty.
I like Atlanta's interstate system...Nashville's sucks!!!
But I'll have to work for a good bit due to the most hectic weekend for Anheuser Busch for the entire year. :| After that though, I'll head down to my buddy's cabin for some partying and fireworks (sounds dangerous already).

Is this a sarcastic question? Well, I doubt it is but Independence Day is celebrated on the 4th of July, the day in 1776 in which the Congress of the original thirteen American (U.S.) colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence.

Hmph... I worked thirteen hours yesterday (roughly a shift and a half) before punching out at nine. I would have done the same today but I had to catch the Greyhound north to Bangor at six-fifteen. So, happy Fourth to all the folks celebrating everywhere, hope everyone who had the day off enjoyed the hell out of it. I had to work today.
But who cares? Raise a glass and toast another day gone!

wind...balls of fire...guy in the crowed got hit in the head....another lady in the eye....BEST PART OF THE SHOW
BBQ at a friend's family's house who had many relatives and friends over. These guys brought out about 1k of fireworks which I took a few pictures of on my incredibly crappy picture phone.
