"We Have to Go Spend Money to Keep From Going Bankrupt"....says Joe Biden. ah hell why didn't I think of that? Now we know how to keep people from losing their homes when the bank forecloses on them....write checks for money you don't have!! that's right folks...write a rubber check and tell em if it is going to work for the feds it may work for me! One trillion dollars in debt and the VP is out beating the drum to spend more money that they will print up, backed by zero.
oh the agony...

Sounds good to me! Following the Feds example of sensible fiscal policy, I just deposited one of my own personal checks into my own account for the sum of $23 Quadrillion. Seems to be a popular number these days. Still waiting on the check to go through, but when it does.....

I really dont get this comment at all. I think that HE THINKS the majority of Americans are stupid and would just agree with him. How can one SPEND money to keep from going bankrupt? they dont have money as it is, then they go and spend more money?!

We better pass this national health care law so we dont go bankrupt!!!!!

This is coming from the man who always blabs about his working class upbringing - but fails to mention that his family was semi-poor 'cause his born-into-huge-wealth father blew all the money in the market.

Jeez louise... IF a financial advisor told me to go out and spend like a whore pretending to have a sugar daddy's credit card I'd laugh my self near to death ,then fire him !.
These liberalisimos count on the sheeple buying into this "healthcare" by government debacle they have created and of course twist and milk it for their propaganda to get all the nimwits to think their is a free lunch for everyone around the corner.
Pass out the soma , and heat up the soilent green... damn it's gonna be a rough and insanely expensive ride !.

Look who the majority chose to be their leader, not that the opposition offered much difference, other than a check and balance(which is all we can hope for).

Biden makes Dan Quayle look like a genious. He even makes Palin look smart too. I guess that is why bayrock chose him because he even makes bayrock look smart.

isn't stupid spending and corporate greed the reason we're in a prolonged recession/brink of depression ?

Our Beloved Mr Berlusconi started a massive TV campaign like 2 years ago saying exactly the same and still goes on claiming that "spending" is the panacea for all Italy's problems.

you are not alone.

The only cure is fiscal responsibility (saving) followed by tough economic times as things balance out into something vastly more sensible and stable. What we had going was pure greed and not stable economic growth. Any moron can see that, but economists were all about MAXIMIZING PROFIT so such things became enshrined in holy words to make them less sinful sounding. My apologies if you're a stock holder. But suffering is good for the soul as I know too muich of myself. It keeps you humble. My advice is to invest in companies WITH a bright future and who have always been stable with sound financial practices. It's NOT rocket science. You don't need a firm to tell you how to invest. Its just pure basic economic principles and doing a bit of your OWN research on past and future projections of earnings on a particular company. The nasty little tricky thing however is whether you have insider knowledge as to the company's future and current practices.
THAT makes all the difference and I am not saying its right or wrong. I'm just saying it would be alot more practical if you had sound financial data regarding a company's health and future strategies for earnings growth.
AND THAT FOLKS IS WHERE THE AMERICAN FREEDOM OF SPEECH ENDS.....

Well, you have to consider the source on this...When you hear Joe Biden speak, just close your eyes and think of the image of David Putty...then it will begin to make perfect sense. Of course, you have to work hard not to chuckle.

I'm not terribly surprised, coming from an administration that's trying to borrow it's way out of a debt problem
