are there modern AR10 lower that accepts SR25/DPMS mags?

i want to build a carbine.308 that is not DPMS, takes SR25/dpms magazines and takes a freefloat rail systerm similar to KAC's?

POF takes KAC/DPMS mags IIRC...

its based off the DPMS pattern. not the AR10 or KAC

They will accept DPMS Mags.

Just throw on an upper and a Larue Rail (http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=118).

ETA: Or you can just go straight Armalite (http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop%2Fmanufacturer&manufacturer=90) and just replace the gas block with a low pro and add the larue rail.

The CMMG lower is. But the Armalite only accepts Armalite .308 magazines. The Armalite magazines are true 20 round magazines and are the same price as those made by DPMS. The CMMG lower is. But the Armalite only accepts Armalite .308 magazines. The Armalite magazines are true 20 round magazines and are the same price as those made by DPMS. Scratch. looking for all the parts so i can just buy it once i move to Montana and put it together .

Then I would take the Armalite path. They have been in the game for a while. What kind of glass do you plan on using?

Acog or schmidt and bender with a Larue or KAC mount.

Good choice. A NF would be a little easier on the wallet though haha. Compared to the S&B that is.

if i'm willing to shed out cash for a colt or a KAC i must be willing to shed one for a S&B :P

Yes it does. I have DPMS and Cproducts mags for mine. They both use the KAC style mags. Also, the 7.62 PMAGs are compatible with DPMS/KAC/Cproducts/POF.

You could go the route of the CMMG .308 lower and use the C Products .308 DPMS style mags.
They have the stripped lowers on Summer Sale at AIM at the moment and I'm temted to get one but can't justify it at the moment.:(

Look into Sonju great products Billet and they also have some that accept G3 Mags. Which are extremly cheaper.

POF Armalite Sonju DPMS Bushmaster( soon to be released rumors) some others but not with good reputations are all your going to get into.

Sonju is who I would go with. Look into them also LArue has their .308 make.
