Wow, those are alot of AKs, why would they be using them? M4s etc... are crapping out, easier to get ammo for the AK, whats the deal?

I think it's more of a victory pose type of thing rather than all of them actually using those.

doubt they're using them, they find plenty of them in stock piles, and probobly grabed them for the photo, somehow i doubt a marine would trust his life to an ak47, as marines try to put as few bullets in the air as possible.

I don’t know about that man, I think I would rather take an AK to war then the M-16. I have experience and a lot of it with both types of rifles and I think I would prefer firepower over accuracy.

It happened in Vietnam, but not as common as many believe. At least that was when my father was there and what he related to me.

Alot has changed since Vietnam.

Iraq is loaded with AKs. Have you ever seen the stockpiles they destroy?

Oh, of course I don't doubt the fact that even if M16 were less superior to Soviet made weapons back when they were first implemented. They had 30 years to fix them.
