Hi!
Can anybody help me?
I have two questions about dutch gear.

1.I saw a lot of pictures where are dutch´s soldiers with smocks. At first i think, that it was a old british parasmock. On better photos, i saw, that wasn´t a old british dmp, but dutch dpm.I´m confused now-Are smocks official issued? Can anybody say me more about wear "smocks" and company who make it?

2.http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/4466/pantso.th.jpg (http://img38.imageshack.us/i/pantso.jpg/)
On this photo is KCT soldier(in my opinion).
I saw pictures, where KCT wear:standart pants, NBC pants, coverals. But i think, that this one isn´t of them. That have pockets in a british style, but the color looks like dutch.Have anybody idea "what is it"?
Thanks for answers!

Not sure at all, but perhaps a sniper smock from Arktis, and an arktis pants...perhaps...

In this way, I would be very happy if somebody could make a comparison between the Arktis Kommando smock and the new (I believe) Arktis NL MOD smock...look quite similar except the arm pockets, but I wonder for example if the Arktis NL smock have some waterproof parts too, etc...

For a long time, some units unofficially allowed the use of British parkas, because of the ripstop fabric and more useful pockets. The arktis smocks were (and are) very popular.
After a while, arktis also started to produce the smocks in the specific Dutch dpm pattern.
Other companies like tacgear also offer DPM smocks but in UK DPM.
And now, at the point were almost everybody had a smock, the Dutch MOD decided they will produce their own, and make other versions 'illegal' to wear. First tests of the smocks showed a lot of failures, so there's some work to be done there.

In general, the same goes for the pants. Especially since we switched to using woodland DPM in the greenzone in dirka-dirkastan the need for real combatpants became greater. So MOD is looking into that one as well.
On the other side, it's not uncommon to see Dutch green berets testing out small batches of possible new gear, for reviews and improvements.

if you have interest in the Dutch DPM arktis smock, Arktis (UK) and Noorloos (NLD) are your friends.
