"Summer Pulse 04" is a naval exercise to test the US Navy's ability to have seven of its 12 carriers away from port simultaneously... or is it?

They have been putting together their own list of theories.
These include:
-The navy has left port to avoid being destroyed by a massive earthquake, or perhaps a metorite shower.
-The US navy is attempting to intercept 35-50 AL-Qaeda ships enroute to the US.
-Invade Iran
-Invade North Korea
-Invade Cuba
-Avoid being destroyed in a Russian nuclear strike
-Launch a pre-emptive strike against China
-Defend Taiwan, or perhaps Israel, from imminent invasion.
I think they forgot to add Alien Invasion to their list...
