In news from Iraq you have often seen photos soldiers wearing NBC gear, you also can read that some tanks are NBC capable(almost all MBTs, some APC ie: BMPs ). My question is how to "piss" in that "****" if you are exposed to NBC threats and can't go to safe place.

This is stupid question but...you know... interesting

I'd do it in my suit. beats getting your skin melting off of you. :D

So if there are only holes to drink i think you will quickly sink.

technically, same way every body else does, except decontaminate your gloves and hands and anything your gloves and hands have touched with DKP 1 if you notice any liquid.
The NBC suits (at least for the UK anyway) are not one solid 'jump suit' style jobbie, we have NBC jackets and NBC trousers (and if you want to be technical NBC Inner gloves, NBC outer gloves, NBC overboots etc etc) so it isn't that difficult :D
Gas, while it is a gas, all you need to do is avoid breathing it (Respirator)
The problem is it has a nasty tendancy to condense... everywhere and when it gets on the skin, its absorbed into the body and well, your ****ed.
However it has to be on the skin for a fair amount of time, so you decontaminate before and after, you've got no problem.

Eating however is a rather more time consuming proposition :D

Yea the policy I was taught was to either hold it until you are decontaminated or go in your suit. We use the one piece suit in Canada. While we're on the topic of NBC warfare, does anyone else notice how great CS gas is at clearing your nose and seinuses(dunno how to spell) out. I'm soo plugged up and I want a trip to the gas hut!

No I thought that really clears the Sinus :D
Two funny stories about CS gas. My brother who is in the Ta few years ago got gassed heavily on Exercise in the rain. went home to the nurses home where he was training to be a nurse dumped all his kit in the Drying room. Few hours later nurses are complaining there eyes and noses hurt when they go to get there clean uniform. Our hero clears up his kit sharpish Cs particles cling to clothing especially wet stuff so never dry it off in confined spaces.
Later this guy Brought back from Gib a load of CS gas sprays for the other nurses who worked casulity with him. Decided to find out how effective these sprays are took himself to an park and sprayed himself in the face with one spent 20 minutes rolling aroun in pain

CS sucks. I vividly remeber my first (and only) encounter with CS. I know its not as bad as some of the other stuff out there. But when you have to deal with a CS candle in a tiney room, it just plain sucks. I'm just glad we don't have to deal with that for a while.

During training the ADF puts its combat corps soldiers in a tent full of CS gas and makes them take off their masks and be 'subjected' to the gas as well as go in without a mask on and then put it on.

lol when you take the mask off in the tent the instructor asks you a question that you have to think about...lol like "why arn't coco pops in a smaller box?"

I'll tell you what its not nice, its like nothing you could ever imagine.

Ah the old CS gas stories!!
Well hers's one for you, when I was stationed in Colchester in 87,we were all boozing in this pub, when suddenly down in the lounge bar, guys and bird started "snotting and pukin" all over the place, and the place quickly filled with the tell tale cloud, some asshole had got CS pellets, and ground them down and put the contents in all the ashtrays in the bar!It wasn't long before the whole pub was vacated all apart from this one Jock(in the KOSB's),who was standing there in his kilt, tears and snotters flying everywhere, who just point blank refused to leave his drink!!Apparently he was getting married a few hours later, and this was his last single mans pint!!!

During NBC training,we used to have to recite our Name Rank and Number, then followed by your Units Name in Full!!Not very nice when after Name Rankand Number you had to say 1st Battalion The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders(Princess Louise's)......twice,cause the assholes say they can never hear you the 1st time!!

Yea lol it sure ain't. One of my buddys vomitted in his mask beside me lol! I do my drills well enough so I don't care about getting gassed and for some sick reason I like it?! :bash: Just cause after when you're blowing all the snot and goup outta your nose and mouth you're sinus (thanks for the spelling help) are soooo clear. I've gone into the gas hut about five times in training. and when I join the marines I'll have to go through it more. Figure it's better to enjoy the ****.

Buddy of mine was the NBC NCO, so every year when we went to the chamber, he got to stand there all day and sprinkle the CS crystals on the flame, as the various groups went through. He wore gloves, mask and hood, but never bothered with the whole suit. He was a funny bastard, and every year without fail he would go home and tell his wife to press his cammies for the next day (as she always did). When that hot iron hit the CS impregnated cammies a big cloud would surround his wife. He'd just sit in the corner and laugh his ass off as she stumbled around crying and snotting. We looked forward to that one every year!
