But according to UN they arent there to fight....

It's called a CV-90, it's Swedish made :)

only thing i now, is that there an update regarding the armour on CV-90.
dont now on the chassie, but on the turret you can se that it ist more armour. The only CV-90 thats got extra armour is the ones in international service, not the ones for national defence , of course if theres a war in sweden, all CV-90 for the national defence will get it too, i hope that anyway..... most of the picttures i have seen dont have any extra armour, and when i did my military service i only saw the CV-90 witout extra armour so i think thats pretty standard.

Don't know for sure (I'll go there myself in 5 weeks, I can get back to you then - or even better - you get back to me...), but they are serving as the UNMIL QRF (no AoR - they work all over Liberia).

They are serving as part of the UNMIL QRF, there is a Swedish company serving as part of an Irish battalion battle group although you wouldn't get that impression from the lack of pictures coming from the Irish defence forces, in fact almost all of the decent Irish pics from Liberia have been on mil.se :oops: :fork:

I know what you mean Imshi, except forthe start of the mission, Derek Mooney's death and the Wing's hostage rescue, there has been very little about it, great appreciation that :-*$ , speaking of which pic 8 :)

It looks like a coastal gun, but I'm not quite sure.

The translation is: "If it shoots, the WDW is on top of it." I think WDW is an abbreviation for the person or persons responsible for arming, firing or maintaining the ship's weapons.
