Though not anthing military this is presently causing a bit of "a storm in a glass of water" over here in Norway at present:

Sparks fly after *** on stage
Sparks are predictably flying after an act at a Norwegian music festival Tuesday suddenly featured live *** on stage. A local politician from the Christian Democrats says he'll file a police report, while festival organizers claim they weren't told about the *** act and wouldn't have approved it.
The act occurred during an appearance by a Norwegian band called The Cumshots, led by actor/musician Kristopher Schau. Both the band and Schau are known for their attempts to shock and outrage the general public.

Midway during the Cumshots' set, two environmental activists appeared on stage and started having *** in a variety of positions. The couple, Tommy Hol Ellingsen and Leona Johansson, are known for donating revenues from an Internet **** site they run to save rain forests around the world.

Organizers of the Quart Festival in Kristiansand, along with festival workers, claim they were shocked over the act, which Schau had kept a secret. Foreign artists appearing at the festival said they'd never seen anything like it, anywhere.

Expect the unexpected
"When you hire in a band like The Cumshots, you have to expect that something might happen," said festival spokesman Espen Thorsesen Hværsaagod. "At first, I laughed, but then I choked a bit too.

"It's a bit sad that there were minors in the audience. They've surely seen worse things at home on TV, but we wouldn't have approved an act like this if we'd known about it."

Nonetheless, festival organizers aren't taking any measures against Schau. Local polician Steinar Kristiansen, however, is furious.

'Lack of judgment'
"Kristopher Schau showed here a lack of judgment and defiance for Norwegian law," Kristiansen, who represents the Christian Democrats on the county council for Vest-Agder, told Aftenposten Multimedia. "Fortunately, not only the conservative Christian Democrats are reacting to this. I hope that members of the public file police reports as well."

Kristiansen also said Schau should never be allowed to perform at the festival again, and that he should be banned from Norwegian television.

Schau, not surprisingly, was delighted with the act and claimed he's just doing his part to protect rain forests. "We've been accused of not having any cause," he said. "Here we've had a fine opportunity to improve our reputation."

The lead singer of the band is rather infamous for his various jackass like stunts, so wouldn't say I was surprised.
Also studied alongside a former band colleague of Mr. Schau once (in another of the several bands he have participated in over the years), and remember well the occasion with that other band when Schau appeared more or less naked on stage save for a coating of shaving foam and a cold unroasted turkey stuck on his head :D.

Seems some earlier project that the lead singer of Cumshots Kristoffer Schau was involved in, has reappeared as a minor comic hit on the internet.
A vid of the "Kitchenware punk band" "Hurra Torpedo" and their cover version of the Bonnie Tyler 1980's hit "Total eclipse of the heart".

Mr. Schau is the "drummer" in the middle banging away on the freezer :lol:.
The guys are in fact reported as "touring over the pond" :rofl: (though as I know these guys pretty well, I guess that's another one of their pranks with the press :lol:).
