I know this is slightly off topic, but there are some "combat footage" and some information on movie special effects here.
When I left the Bundesheer and came to the US I took up WWII Reenacting. We have recently been involved in a movie shoot for the Sci-Fi-Channel.
This is the first instalment of three movies my unit will be involved in.
The main page will all of the info can be found here.

To the left are choices to see the trailer for the first movie. To the right are choices on how to view some of the FX.
I am in the movie. I am the assistant gunner. I have a rather bad death scene about 2/3 of the way through, I am to the left of the Mg and am shot and fall to the left. The camera is behind me.
They wouldn't let me use my own Mg as they said I looked too young, so I had to be # 2 on my weapon. :cantbeli:
Yea, the movie is bad, and is Sci-fi, but I though a few of you might enjoy it.
The quality here is poor, I have a CD with a high quality version here at home. Enjoy. (the movie is really bad, so don't expct Saving private Ryan here)

Another of me loading up my baby. www.sonnyboo.com/photogallery/ww2/viewer.php?file=ww2_01_img_0141.jpg They are right, the camera does add 20 pounds.
In the movie our arty (s.I.G. 33) 1.5 cm howitzer will be added for full scalle bombardments and up close fights.
I thought this would be good to show a little of what goes into makng a movie.
The fact that we were entrenched and in squad strength and attacked frontally by 3 men and over run in second is pretty funny as well.
Please, no flames about WWII. I, nor does anyone involved in this do not proagate any NAZI beliefs, this is just entertainment.
