Yea, the Islamic websites say that two helicopters and a few humvees were destroyed. However, whenver a copter goes down, all news venues are all over it.. We would definately hear something about it if its happening..

Yes, just like in GW1 when Saddam shot down the whole Infidel Air Force.

…at least I hope the morons didn't blow up Humvees and Helos.

Nothing on Fox. Just a picture of Kerry and Edwards about to smoochie.

I found this embedded in another article (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,124893,00.html).

"The security dangers were underscored by the violence Wednesday. Insurgents waged a running gunbattle with Iraqi forces in the streets near Martyrs' Square, the Interior Ministry said. Health Ministry official Saad al-Amili said four people were killed and 20 injured in the battle.

U.S. armored personnel carriers moved to the scene of the fighting as two Apache helicopters hovered overhead. Interior Ministry officials said the helicopters fired on nearby buildings."

Some guys probably wanted to kill Allawi or just do some mess.
Whole thing started when several mortar rounds hit medical centre near the office of Allawi's Iraqi National Accord and other ones landed in the southern Dura district (Allawi hause is in neighhbourhood).
After that iraqi military and police have started fighting with rebels.
By the way - any one knows are this rebels sunni or shia?

From what i heard was that around 20-25 insurgents starting attacking ****, iraqi cops and army started to fight them off, then US forces came into and and even a pair of apaches were called in, and they fired a few hellfires into a building. Casualties were 14 iraqis, 10 enemy, 4 friendly

have a nice day
