View Full Version : Muslim extremist allowed to name his son "Jihad"... in Germany

Get this: Reda Seyam is an Islamic extremist with a German passport thanks to marrying a German woman (who later had to go under the witness protection program after denouncing him for repeated beatings). The man has no known job, makes 2,300 euros a month out of welfare, has a Mercedes, links to the Benin bombings (the money that funded the attack came out of his bank account) and is wanted by the CIA, FBI and other agencies. Apparently, since he is German he cannot be extradited.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/mar/01/germany.kateconnolly
The German interior ministry is appealing against a decision by the Berlin authorities to allow an Islamist to name his son Jihad, the Arabic word used for holy war.
Reda Seyam fought for 18 months for permission to give his sixth child the name after the registry in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg initially rejected his application, saying the name was inappropriate because of its association with terrorism, and "may endanger the child".
This week a court overturned the ruling, on the grounds that Jihad was "a recognised male forename in the Arab world and loved by Muslims".
Mr Seyam, 47, a self-declared Islamist, was shown on television this week presenting his son. Grinning into the camera, Jihad on his knee, he said: "You had barely come into the world and you were in court. Your fight has already begun."
In the same programme he defended the terror attacks on the United States on September 11 2001, and on Bali in 2002.
Germany has strict rules governing the naming of children. Parents have to choose from a list of court-approved names, to prevent a child from becoming a victim of ridicule or confusion. The names Hitler and Stalin are banned, and in 2002 a Turkish couple living in Germany were denied permission to name their child Osama bin Laden.
Berlin's interior minister, Erhart Körting, said a court that allowed "a father who has welcomed al-Qaida attacks to name his child in this way has underestimated in an appallingly naive manner the meaning of this name".
Hm I could use 2,300 Euros a month...
Why is this ****weed even allowed to live in Germany

x2 Elbs, x2... something is seriously wrong here.
Jihad is a good name...but it seems his father have some sort of extremist record, i pray for that innocent child. He know nothing.

The man makes in welfare what I make as a hotel manager here in the Canaries. He has 6 children with his second wife (who also has no known job).

Berlin has a left wing administration with a gay mayor. So what do you expect? Answer: beeing as much liberal as possible!
As for the citizenship, I think it should be possible to withdraw citizenship given to former Non-Germans and throw them out. But it's not possible at the moment.

Jeesuz.... most policemen make less than that in Germany and work 60-hour weeks.
I hate it when the welfare system is so shamelessly abused by people who HATE Germany.
Come to think of it, I'm helping fund that 2300 euros with my taxes. Beautiful world, aint it?

Why am I not surprised.
Sigh.

So I'm wondering when the West is going to grow some balls and kick this of scum out. This goes way beyond ridiculous.

Reda Seyam is suspected to be the person behind the Bali bombings. That should be enough to know.
sorry, German article

When we make it clear that residency for foreigners is not a right but a privilege given by us in good will and ruled by common sense. A privilege that can be removed when common sense and good will are infringed upon by the foreigner.

That's already the case, the 'airport prisons' are full with illegals waiting extradition.
The point here is that he holds German citizenship and this is not a privilege, but a matter of rights. (Unfortunately in this case).
But as i posted above he seems to be a grade A terrorist. The main sponsor of the Bali Bombings. This is the real problem with this guy.

Including that if you are given the citizenship simply because you married a German, that citizenship should be liable to be removed as easily as it was given.

Including that if you are given the citizenship simply because you married a German, that citizenship should be liable to be removed as easily as it was given. Not possible and not favored. There is just one citizenship and not one for trial, on time or on other conditions (apart of some cases of double citizenship and the entry into the armed forces of another country). The solution is hence not to act after the citizenship was granted but before. There should be thze barrier.
I wonder if there is no regulation that prevents the naturalization of people like him.

Somewhere there are radical islamists, somewhere else some other minorities with unlimited benefits (and criminal background, fair part of them). "Democratic" countries starts to behave like some women; the more you beat them, the more they likes you.
So gentlemen soldiers and policemen, it seem´s we are like dinosaurs; about to extinct. Atleast in "democraties".

Why? We have a justice system, if he's a proven sponsor of the Bali bombings he should be jailed. No matter his citizenship. Better to jail someone here, than simply kicking him out to god knows where he lands.
If he wants to call his son jihad, he shouldn't be allowed to since such names are not allowed to register here. German laws.
I'm 100% sure he's under surveillance by the BKA.

When extremists such as this guy leech off a society, reaping all of it's benefits while at the same time denouncing a people whose system he is completely dependent on......I do have to wonder if such outrageous morons are well known within Germany? Seems if they were more aware of people like him, they too would want him out. Does the German media report about people like this, or are they exposed only by outside medias?

It would be political incorrect to bait.
And I guess in Berlin it's only one example of thousands.

Very easy. A dumb German woman and kids. That's it. I guess the benefit for 6 kids is over 1000 Euro in this case.

Man + Wife + Kids = Welfare. woot
Welfare will never work. If that dude felt a little bit hungry he would find job in one day and would have no time to think about jihad and other such crap.

So if any retard arrives today to germany and decides to name his son Hitler Himmler, Nazi Power or Kill the Juice, there will be no complain from the authorities, specially if their parents are living on welfare

i think there's a slight misunderstanding here.
jihad is a simple "normal" arabic name, not associated with violence or any such thing (on its own). its just a name.
I knew three jihads when I was working in dubai... all hard drinking lebanese with non-religious parents. Its rather "unfortunate" that jihad (the action) seems to have become "well known" in western countries, but without insight into the fact that its also a simple name (like "adolf" was before 1933...).
X2
I remember working with a lebanese guy names Jihad, what's the deal?

The deal is, we like it in the ass. And they know it.
I'll tell you what: let's make a posse and beat the living crap out of this bastard until he names his child 'Baby Jesus'. Who's with me?
Just kidding. Well, sort of. No, really, just kidding.

The problem is that the father IS a islamist, and he is naming the child not because Jihad means struggle or to get a better life but TERRORISM and murdering christs.
