There are many contenders: SAS, SEALs, Delta Force, Shayetet 13, etc. For me the South African Special Forces beat them all: it's almost super-human:

The toughest selection is the one on the battlefield.

Walk away with your legs, and you know you passed.

People who've been through SF training generally agree that it still can't compare to the real thing.

Yea, and once they finish regiment training, they need 2 years to make up for all the rest they missed ;)
