I think it is somewhere in Russia. Anyone can tell where is it?

Some kind of monument, probably....

The sign in the background says something about cruiser fighting in Great Patriotic war...
Damn, my Russian is no good :bash:

St. Petersburg maybe? Isn't that where the guns from the battleships were used?

I think they are on the ground not on the roof.

It's too bad that the shot cuts off right before the name of the cruiser.
They can't be from Aurora. Aurora is a museum and intact. Secondly Aurora never had triple gun turrets.

Looks like someone wrote about someone else (presumably) that he's a faggot on the farther turret.

The caption above mention Baltics Fleet and WWII (or GPW, if you like).

Would the roof support the blast ?

First of all, it's on the ground. Look at the building entrance at far left.

Second of all, this is what the words (or the visible portion of them) say:

"For the honorable deeds of redsigned (?) baltic ....

In World War II ....

To the heroic crew of the cruiser ...."

And at least some of the words written on the turrets themselves are not suitable for children...

The word you were looking for is Red Banner. A meaningless epithet. I do not know of any Soviet Fleet that did not fly red banners. However there was an Order of Red Banner. This does not seems to mean that. Damn my curiosity is piqued.

Look on the left side of picture. In this low wall in the middle between first cannon and end of the photo you can see something. Is that ammo?

Replica probably. Put there for artistic purpose or something.

These are the actual turrets from heavy cruiser Kirov. The first of the Project 26. These are 7 inch guns, main caliber. The ship indeed earned an Order of the Red Banner
