These are Polish troops shrek. Engineers form 1 Brzeska Brygada Saperów (1st BBS) to be more precise. Standard "pantera" wz.93 woodland camo, OLV flak vests, wz.96 Beryl rifles, Kupczak mountain boots. On 0245 pic you can notice even armpatch polish white-red flag. Two of these squads were operating around Bagram Base, some 40 km N of Kabul. As a sidenote I can add that the minefields there were most dense around the world (up to 10mines/m2). Guess Ichhabe would confirm me on that. ;)

Thanks, I knew they were either Pols or Italians. Those are Rangers standing with them, "Christians" waiting on the chopper and I took the picture so the gangs all there. thanks

I just remembered, these are the guys that showed up with the beautiful German Shepherds. They used them to search for mines. We were drinking with them one day (the Pols not the dogs smart asses) and ask them what they did when they ran out of dogs. They took it well and laughed with us. We got them to help us one day and used the dogs for anti-drug. No, they weren't trained for that and no we were'nt really doing anti-drug, but the assmonkeys didn't know that did they??
