I would like to know more about the kinds of weapons recovered by US and Caribbean allied forces during Operation Urgent Fury in 1983. Such as types, numbers, and origins.

I was looking for the exact types and makes. Years ago I remember reading a list of small arms captured from both Grenadian & Cuban forces.

At least 3 M3A1 Submachineguns were recovered.

Most of the small arms would mostly be in 2 distinct eras

British WWII-1950's

Std. Warsaw Pact to include Czech Vz.52(Peoples Revolutionary Militia) & Vz. 58 Rifles and Vz.52 Light Machineguns, Sa.25 Submachineguns.
AKMS
PKM
SG-43
Dshka
ZU-23-2
RPG-7

AFV's
8 BTR-60PB
2 BRDM-2

He was asking an honest question;those google searches with that smartass lmgify website were inconclusive so I see no reason for him to ask.
Especially since he asked on this forum he actually got a straight answer from linedoggie.

Actually, weren't those AKs AK-47s, rather than AKMSs? Also, I was interested in the origins of the SKSs, Mosins, and AKs. I know that at least a decent portion was Soviet made, I was wondering if there were any others, like East German or Polish for example.

PS, thanks, ld.
