These good pics had already been posted last year but they are always nice to see...

BTW, the guy who put them on the web has since been given a good bollocking for having done so. And rightly so !

Some French can kick serious ass if they want to.

These gentlemen are, if I'm not mistaken, members of the CPA10.
The CPA10 is the french air force SF (acting mainly within the COS for neutralisation, intel gathering and support to the other COS units and as forward controllers for the air force attack aircrafts). This unit is apart of the first circle of the French SF.

There are two other CPA units (Commandos Parachutistes de l'Air):
- The CPA20 whose main purpose is MASA duties (Mesure Active de
Sûreté Aérienne, which consists in marksmen boarding helicopters to intercept small aircrafts)
- The CPA30 whose main purpose is RESCO duties (Recherche Et Secours au COmbat, French acronym for CSAR)

-EDIT- And if I recall correctly, the CPA10/20/30 aren't apart of the GCP

I am afraid they are not....look at the 3rd picture from the top; the standing man has the GCP subdued patch on his right shoulder.

These guys are GCP, I am positive and not just because of that patch.

Ok, you must be right, didn't take the time to look carefully at the pictures, but at first glance, the patch reminded me of the CPA10 one

Cool pics, I didn`t know the PRG4 is still in use, but it would make sense, since it`s been introduced around 10 years ago, and you can set a talk set on it.

Look, I caried the FAMAS F1 for some times, got the privilege to see a FAMAS with m203, ok, it might look odd and "home-made", but if it work i don`t give a ****.
The FAMAS is really not a bad weapon, a few problems, but let`s not forget that it was fielded as soon as 1979, and if the improvement are taking time to come, it doesn`t mean that even the F1 is bad.
see this thread http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19031&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0, and this one http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19031&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0.
You see the gun being a mass production/mass equipement weapon, it might not have the prettiest SF things, but I would exchange my M16A1 any day for a FAMAS.
