According to this CNN.com article, Saddams lawyer is filing a motion with the US Supreme Court, which by the way, has absolutely NO standing in this situation being that Saddam is not a US Citizen, asking that the court release him on the grounds that our invasion and his arrest violates his 5th amendment rights. I would of thought that you have to be an American to have rights under the constitution, but apparently his lawyer dosen;t agree. This has to be one of the stupidest things I have heard in a long while- right up there with giving the enemy combatants in Cuba rights, of which they should have none.
I am all for the law, but Saddam shouild just be summarily executed.....
anyways, here's the link, so read for yourselves...

I just want his trial public and uncensored, and I hope Rumsfeld is called as a witness.

I don;t want his trial to be fair- I say just execute him. he never gave an of the innocent Iraqi's, or American soldiers the oppertunity to be treated fairly so I say begin the democratic and fair trial process AFTER we hang him and dismember his body for all to see..both him and BIN LADEN should be killed in public, on TV..Actually, in BIN LADEN's case, I say that the gov't televise his execution on the large Diamondvision screen in Times Square, NY....and on all the screen's that hang over the playing fields of our footbal, baseball, basketball stadiums, this way the whol ecountry can cheer his death on while watching it on TV...When we capture him we sould hold on to him until Superbowl and televise it as the half-time show...lol
In all seriousness though, I think that they should both be killed on TV for us all to watch. screw amnesty Intl', the french, and anyone else who dosen't like it. they deserve it....

Yeah and I want naked pictures of your sister. I don't think either one of us is going to get their wish for obvious reasons and the relevancy of the issues. Are you an Iraqi citizen? Did you suffer under Saddam's regime? I'm guessing no, so just like my licentious wishes you don't have a dog in this fight. I suggest you go back and lurk in websites devoted to Area 51. You'll probably find much more like-minded people.

I found this part interesting:
In an article on his Web site, he wrote, "The world's most powerful army is an army of cowards. They are soldiers who are willing to risk the lives of innocent civilians to protect their own. I don't know about my fellow Americans, but I don't feel very much protected by such cowards."
Fock this guy. How do you actives and vets from any country feel about this idiot and his feelings? This guy just wants a big pay check and his 15 seconds of fame. What an a$$.

Do you know that this is exactly how OBL and Saddam portray the US???
Do you really want to justify their views???

Typical Arab masculine belittling. You saw this also when the Iraqi Spokesman would say "the little Bush" or when Bush SR would say SAAAdam, (sounds like little goat herder). Hey the guy is going to end up hanging from a rope or sucking on a 7.62x39. He's following the rule of deny everything, admit nothing, make counter-accusations. It plays to some people. Take a look at "Todays Pics" and see what most Iraqis think.
