I'm making this thread in regards to some highly offensive comments posted by a particular user on this thread:
http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=165747
The following are some quotes that he had written there. Highlighting is mine:
In my case (sending unwanted ppl to Africa to ease internal pressure and to grab land in the process), the consequences and the risks arent unknown anymore, since we would just copy what the western world did some 100 years before.
We would just simply learn from the most successful western nations out there: They have build up their initial wealth on the backs of slaves, which was pretty successful - why shouldnt we do it too?
And to get back to topic: With these measures, we can also get rid of our spoiled, rich kids. They should also be send to Africa, becoming slaveholders and build apartheid-based colonies, that sucks out the wealth from this continent for China's greater profit. A measure, successfully proved by the western world.
In Chinese history, the success of a Dynasty is measured in blood and body count.
The bloodiest and most hated Dynasties are always the one that influenced China the most. And we are proud to have another brutal Dynasty nowadays that not only would influence China, but also the whole world.
...
...
No curse in any language can convey my disgust.
China has enough problems without people like him around, spouting such extreme views - of China becoming some kind of new-age, unhinged expansionist colonial power. He even has the nerve to use "we" as if to declare that he is speaking on behalf of his own people - that they all share his twisted, jaded view of the world.
Whoever you are, friend, don't presume that you represent us, whatever your views; modern China has already tarnished much of its global image by building itself on the oppression of its own people, thus to advocate slavery and further oppression of other peoples in its name will result only in further alienating it from the global community, encourage prejudice of those descended from there, and setback whatever progress it has made thus far.
If China is to ever truly recover from its strife-ridden history, it must better learn from the mistakes of its own government and those of other nations, not repeat or exacerbate them. Therefore, I find the comments of the user in question serve only to make him a traitor to his own people, despite whatever pro-China declarations he thinks he is trying to put forward.
