The first World SWAT Challenge and Conference is now history. What a great conference and event it was! There were over 200 attendees at the conference from around the world and press coverage from every continent. There were law enforcement officers form Asia, Central America, Europe, Middle East and North America at the conference

For the conference, yes. For the competition, no.

i think its similar to that of sports in america, they believe if u win the nba championship then you are "world champions" which is in my books totally obsurd. if you win the olympic gold or an "international" competition then yes your are the world championship but not based on a competition that only has american and canadian teams competing.

But they don't seem to be involved in the World SWAT Challenge itself. There are only American teams in the list.

Don't forget the World Cup in football (socceers to the Yanks)! Can't wait for 2006. Anyone caught Euro 2004. Just amazing this year.

I saw RCMP snipers on the Parliament Hill during Canada celebrations this year. They were all over.
