Did the Gloster Meteor be the first jet to have afterburner ??? that gave credit to Frank whittle of named as the first person to have created the Jet Engine ??? Or was the afterburner developed at a later stage if so what Fighter was the first to ever have Engines with Afterburner ???
Miles M.52 supersonic design effort in and just after WW2. It was called a 'reheat tube' and the engine was the W.2/700 from Sir Frank Whittles team.
It never flew sadly because of political pressure, but the design and equipment was all set to go and then weeks before test flights, canned.

Was the engine based the captured doodlebug which was redesigned and improved which lead to the creation of the reheated tube
And what was the first ever operational jet with Afterburner ?

Doodle bug was not a 'jet' as most understand it - it was a pulse detonation engine, and vastly different. As for who had the first afterburning jet fighter? F-9F with the US Navy in Korea IIRC.

I read somewhere that the Vought F-7U Cutlass was the first production fighter to use afterburning engines.

F-9 was early, F-7 cutless too, but is good question.
those old AB were one step wonders. hit the throttle and it was on! sounded like an explosion from a distance!
