I don't know if this has been posted before, but...Check this out...Ejection seat failure (http://www.gallagher.com/ejection_seat/)

He survived with some injuries. Lickily, his parachute wrapped around the tail, or he would've been ripped in half. There's also a video on the website of the landing...Crazy!

WOW

My favorite...
I wish I could say that my last thoughts were of my wife, but as I felt myself blacking out, all I said was, "I don't want to die."

He's one lucky dude.

If the the chute had not caught on the rudder, he might have been killed instantly. Then again it might have pulled him out far enough for the seat motor to fire - who knows.

Furthermore, there was enough tension on the lines to act as a safety harness that prevented him from being lacereted and possbily killed during the trap.

Vey lucky man.

Haha...it's a two man bomber used by the Navy from the Vietnam war till the mid 1990s.

Use google next time ;)

I used to want to be an A-6 pilot when I was a little kid. I have no idea why.
