Just some late night philosophizing... (is that even a word?)

In life, would you rather try to reach bigger goals, with the chance of falling down trying to get there, or would you rather have lesser goals, and have an 'easier' life without the danger of falling down?

Having had very little to do for too long. I've given it a lot of thought and got confused as I thought about it too much. So I came to this conclusion.

Life is confusing. Or thinking about it anyway is confusing. Now I'm confused.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't, so you might as well do something.

Concerning goals: Higher is better, you have to realize that failures happen but you can never quit and you must continue striving, hooah?

Don't leave the oven on - I always forget I'm attempting to cook something.

I'm more of a "Lord Of The Flies" kind of guy myself.

Bigger goals. Even if you "fail", you will learn something along the way. Why would you want to win all the time? I wouldn't. It's a part of life. Bigger goals, bigger rewards, regardless of whether you succeed or not.

If you eat beans, sleep alone. p-)

I think I'd have to go for high-risk, high-payoff with my work, usually. With my family, I don't take many risks. ;)

Im a man of few words...
...and I'm a purple bunny who knows how to type.

BTW so far you guys are, on average, more 'adventurous'/risky in life than 'the average population'. You'd be amazed (at least I was) how many people can be satisfied with an easy 9 to 5 day-job for 40 years in a row without really anything happening. :|

When it comes to women, dont go out on a limb for them and dont get to close to them if you dont want to hurt them.

It amazes me how you could put the phrases 'joining the Navy' and 'do something with my life' in one sentence... p-)
