For the curious, there's articles in both the August and September issue of SWAT magazine about the Crye pattern. Some of the pictures are taken from Military Moron's website, which also has some information about the Crye Scorpion/multicam pattern.

Well , in my opinion the US should just continue with the patterns they currently have in service.
Afterall , the two MARPAT - patterns just came into service not too long ago. Of course some people might be willing to comment that the US army has to have a "digital pattern" of it's own as well , but I'd say that it isn't absolutely necessary.
As far as I've understood US woodland works well enough , and I'm sure that 3 - color desert pattern is not bad either. So , why change something that works ?
Then again , perhaps this digital pattern that the US army is about receive will prove to be a good idea , who knows..
Judging just from those pictures, Crye Scorpion Multicam, no question.

I spoke with Crye this afternoon and will possibly be getting in some evaluation material.
I do like the concept of this pattern from both a civilian and military side.

That`s crazy how this cry multicam reminds me, loosely thought, of the Italian camo paraglieri BDU`s, that where definitely among the best cut and comfort.
