What's the worse city in your country?

So, because I start this thread I'll go first, the worse city in Israel is probably Lod, it's a mixed city (20% arabs, 80% Jews) and it's full of crime, the biggest drug dealers and criminals of Israel live/lived there, the city is so poor that they no longer take the grabage so the residents burn it, not long go the water were cut to this city because they stopped paying for them and just because the government got involved the water got back to the city. They have check points like in the territories (in part of the city), and to some neighberhoods only the police SWAT enters.

So, what's the worse city in your country?

The closest to where I live is Phoenix which has high auto theft but low murder rate. However, it's also the most fun. There is plenty of run and gun action Friday night on Central and you can see the rolling pimps of Buckeye and their bitches.

I had to stop in Newark for gas one night. I was stopped at a red light. A cop pulled up next to me and said "Why are you stopping for the red light, keep going or you might get carjacked!"

Ummm, NO! Crime infested? What part of L.A. where you in? BTW: LAX is pretty much So. Central L.A. If you think L.A. is bad my guess is that you haven't traveled much.

Well , In Finland I'd say Turku would be the worst place. I'm sure it's a nice place and all , but some of the people there are...just... a bit odd.

As for Sweden , I wouldn't know what would be the worst place. A friend of mine said that Malmö sucked while he lived there , but I'm sure there are even worse places..

Yeah thats probably right for pollution. Alot of people that live there are getting cancer and other diseases from all of the PVC/plastic mills.

PVC fumes will feck you up! in a bad way.

Los Angeles as a whole isn't that bad. Yeah, there's a lot of poor illegals around and pollution is a problem- but what do you expect in a city of over 6 million with two cars per household?

Yes there are parts of LA which have bad crime. LAX is in West LA by the ocean and it's been straightened out A LOT ever since 9/11. You can't take a piss without a cop/ customs/ security/ etc. watching you.

South Central Los Angeles does have pretty bad crime. Why? because the people who live there are poor and uneducated and temptation (drugs, gangs, etc.) is literally manifested at the corner.

The majority of Los Angeles City and LA County though isn't as bad as the movies/ media make it out to be. ;)

As for my vote for the worst city- Detriot I hear is pretty bad, even though I've never been there myself.
