I have been tasked with developiong the course of fire for our Marsksman/Observor element. Anyone know where I can find examples of courses that are 100 yards and less.

What kind of course? Is this for real or airsoft?

You seriously think you can rock up onto a public forum, give no information up about yourself, your unit, their role, etc, and have those of who *could* assist you do so with out so much as a hint about what you would use this information for other than taking your non validated word for it?
But regardless, you might want to start by spelling marksman and observer correctly.
Would look a lot more professional to your *unit*...

OK, thought this was a friendly site where I could ask for help. Sent a PM to Hollis with my creds, but if you want me to justify myself first then I will.
I am 30 years old. I am a SSG in the Kentucky National Guard, and have served in the military police for 12 years. I have deployed to Bosnia, Iraq, and Afganistan. I am also a CQM instructor.
I am a Detective for my hometown police department, where I have served for 9 years. I have been a member of our department's SWAT team since April 2007, serving on the entry team. We have begun the process of adding a Marksman/Observer element to the team, and I was selected as the team leader.
My knowledge on training and courses of fire for this element of the team is limited, so I thought I would ask for help. I tried google and some training sites I was familiar with, but had no luck.
I wasn't trying to be an a**, just thought I'd ask. If you want to help, I would be thankful. If not, no problem.
PS. Sorry about the spelling.

The hostility's mostly from skeptics because of a few airsofters trying to pass themselves off as actual shooters. It's nothing really personal against you.
Have you gone to lightfighter.net? I would register and ask there, as a majority of the guys are current mil/LE. It's a no BS forum, so I think you might benefit the most from there.

Wouldn't the obvious solution be to contact the closest city that has a marksman-program in their SWAT-team, and ask them?

I sent emails to several area agencies. I haven't received all the info yet, because of the holidays. Just figured I try various places in order to get several ideas.

If you check out with Hollis we'll see about getting you into the Mess forum which is where we talk about this sort of thing.
TTP's aren't discussed on the open forum.
To many idiots.
