Giretsu Commandos and the Takasago 1st & 2nd Raiding Companies would have made some use of locally made camoflage uniforms. Usually painted, dyed & by use of attachment points for foliage sewn into the shoulders of the shirt, jackets.

The Takasago were made up of Formosan Aboriginal Highland tribesman noted for their fieldcraft and tracking skills.

If you can find a copy:

War Department. Military Intelligence Service."Reversible Uniforms," Tactical and Technical Trends Issue No.19, No.21 (25 February 1943) delves into a reversible Japanese Camo uniform

From the absolute rarity of it, you can surmise any factory produced camo uniforms of the IJA/IJN were in very small lots. The Japanese Soldier seems to have been more into adapting standard uniforms to local conditions.

Yes they did, here is a few pics of a reversible poncho. Camo on one side and a solid green on the other. Notice the "bump out" for the back pack. This is a printed camo fabric. These are not common.
