Which Special Forces organization is the best?

Which Special Forces organization is the best? Me being an American I would say the US Navy Seals. But once I got to reading a SAS training book my thoughts began favoring the SAS. After cruising this site I see alot of Special Forces supremacy claims to groups that i have never heard of. Which group do you think is the best (Please I do not want anyone making"my countries special forces could kick yours", only facts and opinions (none of the opinions listed above))

Everyone thinks the branch of SOF that they are interested in or a part of is the best... there isn't really an objective answer. So these kinds of questions usually don't amount to much.

As always, none of my writings on here are ever meant to offend or disrespect anyone or anything and I apologize in advance if I miswrite and accidentally do so.

Treat others with respect and maybe we'll get it back, ok? It's true-there is no best. However, no offense to the Navy SEALs, as I've got much respect for them, but even every Navy SEAL I know admits freely that there are better outfits than the SEALs. What's more, there have been about 500 threads just like this one on this message board before, so it's no surprise if people are a little tired of them. Also, the "who is better than who" threads are usually kept to the "Military History and Tactics" forum.

Ghost Recon are good. Elite Force on the USS Voyager, now USS Enterprise is also very good at what they do. Spartans are probably the best of the best though, and Master Chief, well undoubtedly the most hardcore Special Forces soldier in the known universe. Hope this has answered your question. Do I still have to leave the forum ????

Rainbow Six is the best Special Forces


They are almost what you might call "Immortal"

They are the only special forces unit that has the ability to if needed, "restart" and come back to fight another day despite all the casualties

After one quick press of the "restart" button Rainbow Six can transform back into the same unit they where moments before being ripped apart by automatic machine gun fire.


They my friend -- they are the best -- no other special forces unit can come close

Every nations SF is tailored to their circumstances. Take a very brave man to say X is better than Y from amongst the major players Why, ? because we all swap notes. The Yanks will learn something off the Israelis and they'll pass it on to the Brits, who'll pass it on to the Dutch, who'll pass it on to the French etc etc and vice versa. The SF community can be pretty much like masonry.

Well I have to admit, Arthur and his men sure did have style, riding into battle on horses all armoured up....and we all know it's about looks. ;) Arthur and his valiant, noble Knights who are able to take on daunting odds with only sword and bow are in my book up there with Ninjas, Delta, SAS and all the other hardcore SF units out there.

What you should do is find some form of sliding door (Personally I believe those on trains work best) and get your ********s caught between them as they close, this is the only way to be sure you'll never reproduce. Failing that ask one of your friends to get two bricks and just smash away for you.
