The IMF, The EU, NATO, The Hague, INTERPOL, the UN. Too many to count - International bodies that have bloated bureauracracies that have NIL to do with WWII. You should have started this rant when the UN was created - now seems a little late, wouldn't you say?

Apart from agreeing to Mat_fr's comment...may I remind you that more than half of the "Allied servicemen" that fought and the vast majority of those that died in WW2 were Soviet soldiers fighting for Josef Stalin? So, even if the EU would be turning into something like a dictatorship in the near future, the contradiction may not be quite as large as you think. p-)

More likely I'd assume that the European servicemen that died during the war would perhaps look on in astonishment at how far Europe has come and how much has been healed. I reallly think it's a great achievement how after such a terrible war people can overcome their differences and work together.
