Hrmm..
Ok. I don't know them, apart from the x2, x5 and x10, to get the embarrasing part out of the way.
And i want to learn them quickly, and the best way for that i have been told is to get them on a sound file, such as mp3.
Do any of you know where i could get one of these mp3's which has the whole times tables?
Or is there any other word for the times tables, so i can do a better google search.
Cheers for any help.
I've got 'em all memorized. Flash cards are cheap, simple, and effective.

you sould be able to go to most book stores and pick up some flash cards...do you need to pass some kinda test for the navy?...if not...dont worry about them...too much...all through school no matter what math class i would always argue there was no point to memorizing anything of it...calculators take care of thinks like multiplication...i can look up formulas im most math books...yeah i said more then what was needed

Yeah, need a test for math to get into the Navy, its only 14 year olds math, but yeah.
I didnt learn math in primary school, and came to highschool a dumbass, and was put in remedial math for two years, and havnt done it last two years.
So i need some mp3 that has the timestables so i can memorize them when im sleeping or somthing.
Reading them is no good, been trying for years.

Ever been tested for Dyslexia?
Not trying to bust your balls, its a serious question. This one of the places it tends to show up.
My advice is to get a book with the tables, read them off into a microphone, then play that tape or CD in the car or at home.
Might hit the library and see if someone has already done that for you.

Give it a rest spectre. :fork:
PT, that table really is very simple and all the answers are there in front of you. Probably the simplest way to learn multiplication. Basically multiply the verticle numbers with the horizontal ones, very easy.
Heres another multiplication table thats a little easier to use and read.

If these dont help mate, then you could always purchase a program from computer software places like EB Games, Harvey Norman....so on so forth. They (EB atleast...cos I work there :) ) sell some educational programs (for kids obviously) but I'm sure they do the job. They are about $10 a pop, nice and cheap.
Good luck mate, I know how it is. I sucked at Math too ;)

9
18 1+8 = 9
27 2+7= 9
36 3+6= 9
45 4+5=9
ect ect.....

Cheers fellas, and Spectre i went to a **** primary school up in the hills, who had a Football umpire as a principal, and we did no maths for 4 years.
But yeah, i don't think its Dyslexia, because i'm getting an A in english, and have always scored highly in all english classes (may not show from my forum posts, but i dont try)
But yeah, cheers fellas. Gonna have to get off my arse and find somthing other than an mp3.
When I was learning it I would tape the timetable to the back of every bathroom door. So I would memorize it whenever I had to take a ****.
Hint: eat more if ya want to learn it quicker mate ;) ! woot woot woot

Need it spoken. :(
No you don't. That's not the best way to learn it. Just get a cheap pocket calculator, take it around with you and every spare moment fish it out and try to beat it. Type random numbers and try to answer before pressing the = key. Two days of that and you'll ace it.
