does anyone happen to know who makes the lower? its not an AR47 tho it looks similar.

Lower receiver says MGI Inc. Looks like their lower with interchangeable mag well along with a 10.5" upper with a Noveske KFH.

Thanks. i couldn't decipher the magwell.

Has anyone had any experiences with these? i'm considering buying one now..

@ Maverick: you sure about that? You don't wanna just get a regular AK variant? Also, if you live in Alabama- I belive SBR's can't be had there, only some NFA toys are allowed.

I live in Montana, and i already own 2 Ishmash AK's.

if you want 7.62 get a friggin AK, seriously its the best platform in the caliber.

my knowledge with these stuff suck.. dont you have to change the barrel for a diff. caliber?

Yes. You can't shoot different calibers out of a single barrel, because the bullets (and thus the required diameter of the bore) are not the same size. In the AR platform, one generally has different upper receiver groups (which includes the barrel) for different calibers, while you can often use the same lower receiver group, but not for 7.62x39; the size and shape of the magazine makes it necessary to have a special, dedicated lower, as pictured above.
