I have just contributed this piece of trivia to the Blood Diamond entry at the internet movie database IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450259/trivia):
The olive green cargo pants worn by Leonardo di Caprio in this film have become a famous meme in the military forum militaryphotos.net, after a junior user posted a message asking what kind of pants were these.
Blood Diamond Pants (often indicated by their acronym BDP) have come to symbolize young, non-military individuals' obsession with fancy gear and camouflage clothing, something despised and ridiculed by members with actual military background, who interject references to the pants whenever they detect a fashion-oriented post.
I expect it to be published online in the next 10 days.
I hope I have your approval, guys.

You gotta be joking me? I thought part of the fun was looking good? I mean, is that why you have to press your BDU's? I think Miguel should get the fashion police award for the week.

C'mon, HK, I have nothing against you using BDPs. In fact, could you please post a pic of you wearing them? We won't make fun of it.
We promise...

Could you point them out, please? it is the only way I can learn and improve. I hope they weren't too bad. Thanks in advance, man.

There's nothing on Polandball in any wiki or so, even if this meme is far more widespread than BDP.
