AK-47 or RPK,tell me plase ?

Thai army capture weapon from Muslim militant in Yaha district,Yala province.I see AK-47 because it has AK-47 stock and I see it has RPK barrel.Please tell ID,type it's these gun?What's country made it? :-(

I'd say it's a RPK. You can see in the receiver right belove the finger tips of his left hands a strenghtening piece of metal which I think is specific for the receiver of RPK and not found from AK(M).

If you look at the stock in the picture it looks like modified RPK stock. Look at where the sling is strapped.

Yeah deff a RPK, just like the post above me you can tell the stock is a chopped RPK stock, the cheek rest area isn't raised as on a AK stock

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think RPK/AK47/AK74 furniture is for the most part interchangeable. Not counting the oddballs like the Tantal, M70, and milled receiver guns.

Yeah switching the Furniture is easy with fixed stocks, just a couple of screws. Front handguards even easier, just a lever.
